Below are brief descriptions of the Account Settings found in each section of the Settings sidebar. The links in each section will redirect you to the relevant Help Center article for that setting.
NOTE: Your User Role and Permissions control which settings you can access.
To access your Account Settings, go to your Account Menu and select Settings.

You can use the Search bar at the top of the Settings sidebar to search the sidebar categories.

The sidebar categories are explained in more detail below:
Administration Settings
Administration Settings are located below your organization's name in the Settings sidebar.
- Change the Account Owner, view Account Usage, General Settings (Company Name, Logo, Address, etc.), Regional Settings, Default Units, and Tax Settings
- Manage your Plan, Add-Ons, view Invoices, and edit your Billing Profile
- Export a copy of your Fleetio account data
User Access
- Opens the Users tab of the Contacts page in the Fleetio web app in a new window.
- Manage Single Sign-On Enforcement, Password Requirements, and Session Timeouts.
- Manage User Roles, which determine what actions your Users can take in Fleetio.
- Manage Record Sets, which determine which areas of Fleetio your Users can access.
Integrations
- Opens the Integrations Directory in a new window.
- Integration Links allow you to quickly jump to other websites or systems while passing data as part of the link URL.
- Webhooks allow you to send an HTTP POST to the URL(s) of your choosing anytime certain events occur in your Fleetio account.
- External Connections allow you to upload scheduled reports to your company's FTP, SFTP, and Amazon S3 file storage destinations.
SAML Connectors
- Configure SAML Connectors for single sign-on:
Organization
- Manage Groups and Subgroups to better manage a fleet that is segmented by geographic location or company department.
- Custom Fields allow you to save and report on information that isn't included in Fleetio's pre-defined data fields.
- Manage your account's Saved Views.
- Manage account Labels, which add an extra level of prioritization and categorization in the Fleetio system.
Dashboard
- Create and manage custom widgets for your organization's Fleetio Dashboard.
Marketplace
- Manage Repair Order Notification Subscriptions
- Manage Billing Account notification recipients
- Configure Auto Approval policies for Auto Integrate
Vehicles
- Manage your Vehicle Statuses such as Active, Inactive, Out of Service, etc.
- Manage your Vehicle Types which allow you to group similar Vehicles.
- Manage External Vehicle IDs which tell Fleetio how your external systems identify vehicles.
- Add and manage Expense Types to categorize your expenses.
- Turn on or off the option to auto-generate loan and lease expenses.
- Manage tire rotation patterns.
Tools
- Manage your Tool Statuses such as In Service, Out of Service, etc.
- Manage your Tool Types which allow you to group similar Tools.
Inspections
- Manage the Proximity and Distance Thresholds for Inspection Location Exceptions.
Issues
- Manage your Issue Priorities which indicate an issue’s level of importance (Critical, High, Medium, Low, or No Priority).
- Manage Fault Rules which allow you to classify vehicle fault codes to analyze the same Faults across multiple vehicles.
Reminders
- Recalculate your fleet's compliance history and activate or deactivate Service Reminder Forecasting.
- Customize the various renewal activities for your vehicles.
- Customize the various renewal events and activities that are required for your Contacts.
Service
- Configure the information you want to collect on Service Entries and Work Orders.
- Create and manage Work Order Statuses to correspond to the different stages of your internal work order processes.
- Manage Reason for Repair Codes (VMRS Code Key 14).
- Manage Repair Priority Class Codes (VMRS Code Key 16).
System/Assembly/Component Codes
- Manage System, Assembly, and Component Codes (VMRS Code Keys 31, 32, and 33).
Parts & Inventory
- Enable or disable Inventory Tracking by Default.
- Manage the physical locations where you store parts, such as warehouses or parts closets
- Manage categories that you use internally to manage your parts.
- Manage the companies that manufacture your parts.
- Manage the reasons why your employees may increase or decrease inventory quantity levels.
- Select how your inventory is managed, such as Average Cost, FIFO, or LIFO.
- Customize and manage the measurement units used for your parts.
- Manage settings for Purchase Orders such as the Next Purchase Order Number and Automatically Closing Fully Received POs.
- Manage your Purchase Order Statuses such as Approved, Purchased, Received, etc.
Fuel & Energy
- Manage Fuel Vendor Location Alerts, Auto-Assigning Fuel Cards, and Automated Charging Entries.
- Customize and manage the types of Fuel used by your fleet.
Reports
- Manage the ownership of Saved Reports.
