Issue Priority

Issue Priorities help you to organize your Issues in Fleetio by level of importance. Fleetio provides the industry standard priorities of Critical, High, Medium, and Low by default. We understand that your organization may use other terms, so you also have the ability to set an Alias for each Issue Priority to suit your organization's needs.

Manage Issue Priorities

  1. Go to your Account Menu and select Settings.

  1. In the Settings sidebar, click Issue Priorities in the Issues section.

Here you'll see the four default values for Issue Priority - Low, Medium, High, and Critical.

Set a priority as the default for all new Issues by clicking the More Actions Button and selecting Set as Default.

NOTE: If you do not designate a default priority value for issues, all new issues created will have No Priority by default. You will be able to edit the priority once the issue has been created.

Customize an Issue Priority by clicking the More Actions Button and selecting Edit. You can make changes to the following settings:

  • Alias - Changes how the issue is displayed throughout Fleetio.
  • Description - Can be used to provide instructions or details about the priority.
  • Enabled - If checked, the priority will be available for Users to select in Issues.
  • Set as Default - If enabled, the priority will be set as the default priority for all new Issues.

If you make any changes, remember to click the Save button.
