Service Entries for Tools

Service Entries are a simple way to log a completed service for your Tools in Fleetio, and offer a fast and easy method of tracking Tool service history and maintenance expenses.

Tools Service Entries Index

To view your Tools Service Entries, click Tools in the Sidebar Navigation and select Service Entries.

In the Tools Service Entries Index, you can:

1. Use Search and Filters to locate a specific Service Entry
2. Click the More Actions Button to Export the data in the index
3. Click to Add a Service Entry (see below)
4. Click the More Actions Button for a Service Entry to View, Edit, or Delete it

Add a Service Entry

To add a Service Entry for a Tool:

1. Navigate to the Tool Service Entries Index as shown above
2. Click the + Add Service Entry button

3. In the Details section:
   1. Select a Tool using the drop-down menu
   2. Enter the Completion Date and time to indicate when the service was completed

4. In the Line Items section, click + Add Line Item
   • You can click + Add Line Item again to add more line items

5. Enter the Line Item details:
   3. Line Item Name
   4. Labor cost
   5. Parts cost
   6. The Subtotal will be automatically calculated
   7. Click to Delete the line item
   8. Add notes or details about the line item

6. In the Description and Cost Summary sections you can:
   9. Add a description or details about the Service Entry
   10. Enter the Tax as a percentage or fixed dollar amount

7. When you're finished, click Save Service Entry or Save and Add Another to save and keep a blank form open to add another Service Entry

View a Service Entry

Click on a Service Entry in the Tools Service Entries Index to view its details, where you can see the information about the Service Entry, including its Line Items.

Tool Service Entry Summary Report

The Tool Service Entry Summary Report provides you with a summary and list of Service Entries for your Tools.

To view the report:

1. Click Reports in the Sidebar Navigation and select Standard Reports.

2. Click Tools in the Report Types column, and select Tool Service Entry Summary
