Do we have to buy any hardware to use Fleetio?

Absolutely! Anyone looking for a good way to track their car/truck/ATV/boat/etc is more than welcome to use Fleetio for their personal assets.

What is the difference between an Account, a Contact, and a User?

A Fleetio Account is the container for your organization as a whole. The Account is configured with various organization-wide Settings, such as your currency, measurement system, and time zone. It holds the data records, which include your Vehicle List, Parts & Inventory, Contacts, and more.

  • Each Fleetio Account is separate from a billing perspective, and each has its own billing information.

A Contact is a record to store information for any individual with whom you either employ or do business. A Contact does NOT have access to the Fleetio Account.

A User is enabled with the ability to log in and "use" the Fleetio account. These records include all of the same basic information as Contacts, but they are much more powerful.

You can learn more about Contacts and Users in the Contacts vs. Users Explained article.

Which credit cards does Fleetio accept?

Fleetio accepts Visa, Mastercard, Discover, and American Express.
