Navigate the Shop Directory

PERMISSIONS: Maintenance Shop Network is available for all Professional and Premium Plan customers.
Account Owners, Administrators, and Regular Users with permission to view vendors can view the Directory.

New national and independent service/repair shops are joining the Fleetio network every day. The Directory is where you can search and browse shops across the United States and Canada, see which shops are in the network, view services, leave reviews, and more.

IMPORTANT: The Shop Directory only displays Service Providers/Shops available in one country per Fleetio account. Shops are paid in their national currency.

The Directory is available in both the Fleetio web app and Fleetio Go.

In the web app, click Shop Network in the Sidebar Navigation, then click Directory.

In Fleetio Go, tap Browse or Shops in the Navigation Bar.

Search for Shops

On the Fleetio Web App, you can search and/or use filters to locate shops within a specified area.

  • Search (a) uses autocomplete to help you find shops and services by entering key words such as location, or shop name.
  • Click the Filters (b) to filter the results by Network Status, Ownership, Shop Features, Rating, and Partners.
  • Click Sort (c) to sort the directory by default (preferred shops indicated through a Vendor listing or previously selected shops), rating, or distance.

You can further customize which types of shops are visible in your Shop Visibility Settings explained below.

Shop Status and Verification

Shops are divided into three main categories: Verified, Unverified, and Unavailable.

Verified - Verified shops are shown as green map markers with a checkmark. These shops are already part of the network, use Auto Integrate, and can immediately process service transactions. Verified shops usually need less guidance through the transaction process than new ones, but Fleetio has the resources to help.

Unverified - Unverified shops are shown as map markers with a dot. These shops are registered Auto Integrate users, but have not signed Fleetio's shop agreement. Invite a shop to complete the registration process and join Fleetio's network.

Unavailable - Unavailable shops are shown as map markers with an "X" mark. These shops are not registered with Auto Integrate. If you would like to work with an unavailable shop, you can invite them to join.

Shop Visibility Settings

Change Shop Visibility Settings to only see shops that are relevant to your company. Any changes that are made will be reflected on both the web app and Fleetio Go for all Users.

PERMISSIONS: Only Account Owners and Administrators can change Shop Visibility Settings.

In the Directory, click the Shop Visibility Settings button in the top right.

You can change the following Shop Visibility settings:

  • Filter Preferred Shops - Set to On to show only shops you have designated as Preferred and hide all non-preferred shops.
  • Mobile Service Providers - Choose to Show or Hide all Mobile Service Providers.
    • By default, the Shop Directory will always display Mobile Service Providers at the top of the directory, followed by Maintenance Providers.
  • Unavailable Shops - Choose to Show or Hide Unavailable shops.
    • If Unavailable shops are shown, you can send them an invitation to join the network.
  • National Providers - Choose to Show All, Show Some, Hide Some, or Hide All National Providers.
    • Choosing Show Some or Hide Some will bring up a drop-down list where you can search for and select multiple providers.
  • Independent Shops - Choose to Show All, Show Some, Hide Some, or Hide All Independent Shops.
    • Choosing Show Some or Hide Some will bring up a drop-down list where you can search for and select multiple shops.
  • Prioritize Preferred Maintenance Providers - If set to On, preferred maintenance providers will appear in a group near the top of your search results.

If you've chosen to hide certain shops or providers, you can switch on the View All toggle at the top of the Directory list to view hidden shops and individually change visibility.

Account Owners and Administrators will also see a visibility drop-down menu in the shop details for each shop.

View Shop Details and Features

Click on a map marker or a shop in the directory list to open the Shop Details. The Shop Details include information such as hours of operation, network status, the address, and a phone number.

Details provided, such as features, will vary depending on the shop and the information Fleetio has been given.

Shop Features

Shop Features are divided by Services, Vehicle Type, and Amenities. If a shop has any registered features, they will show up in this section. You can also search for shops by feature in the directory.

  • Services - Certifications, Collision, Inspections, Transmissions, Car Wash, Tires, Brakes, etc.
  • Vehicle Types - Truck Class, Heavy Duty, Medium Duty, Light Duty, Diesel
  • Amenities - Towing, Mobile, Pickup, and Appointments

Preferred Shops

Preferred shops gives you the ability to mark shops as preferred, and enables default sorting of the Shop Directory by these shops first, then ordered by distance. A preferred shop indicates that the driver should prioritize that shop, while still having the flexibility to select another available shop. The ability to mark shops as preferred as is also available in Fleetio Go.

PERMISSIONS: Only Account Owners and Administrators can mark specific shops as preferred and remove them from the list.

To mark a shop as preferred:

  1. In the Directory, click on a shop to view its Shop Details.
  2. Click the heart icon in the Preferred field.

You can also mark a shop as preferred on the Vendor details page:

  1. Click Vendors in the Sidebar Navigation.
  2. Locate the Vendor in the list and click on it to view the Vendor Details Page.
  3. In the Details section, click the heart icon in the Preferred field.

Invite a Shop

If a shop is Unavailable or Unverified, you can send an email invitation to join using the web app or direct them to a specific page to complete the process.

Invite a Shop from the Directory

  1. Click Shop Network in the Sidebar Navigation and select Directory.
  2. Locate the Unavailable or Unverified shop you'd like to invite.
  3. Click the + Invite Shop button in either the shop list or within the shop details.

  1. Enter the Contact Name and Email Address for the contact at the shop.

  1. Click Send Invite. Fleetio will send the contact an email with instructions to complete the registration process.

If you would prefer to send your own email to the shop, follow the instructions above. Instead of adding a contact name and email to the form, click Copy Invite Link and paste this link into your own email message to the shop. Then, click Cancel on the Invite Shop form.

The Shop will then be directed to a web page to complete the registration process.

If you are discussing registration with a shop already, it may be easier to direct them to visit our registration page.

Direct the shop to visit fleetio.com/vendors and have them complete the registration process.

Make an Appointment

Some listings in the Directory include a Make Appointment button. Select it to open a new browser tab to connect directly to the provider's appointment scheduler.

Report a Problem

Every shop in the Directory on the web app and Fleetio Go contains a Report a Problem button on its profile. You can use this if you notice inaccurate information or have an undesirable experience with a shop in Fleetio's network. Your feedback will be passed to the Fleetio Support team, who will investigate it.
