Vehicle Renewal Types

Vehicle Renewal Types allow you to customize the various renewal activities for your fleet Vehicles. These Types can be selected when creating Vehicle Renewal Reminders in Fleetio and then used for sorting, filtering, and reporting.

Fleetio includes pre-defined Vehicle Renewal Types including Emission Test, Inspection, Insurance, and Registration. You can Edit or Delete these Types or Add your own custom Types.

Manage Vehicle Renewal Types

1. Go to your Account Menu and select Settings.

2. In the Settings sidebar, click Vehicle Renewal Types in the Reminders section.
3. Click the + Add Vehicle Renewal Type button (a) in the top right corner to create a new Vehicle Renewal Type.
   • Click the More Actions Button (b) on an existing Vehicle Renewal Type to Edit or Delete it.
   • The link in the Usage column (c) will display Vehicle Renewal Reminders for this Type.

4. If you're creating a new Vehicle Renewal Type, enter the name in the form that appears and click the Save button.
   • If you're editing an existing Type, the same form will appear allowing you to change the name.

Filter and Report by Vehicle Renewal Type

The Vehicle Renewal Reminder List and Report include easy Filter options so that you can narrow results displayed by Type.
