You may encounter a situation in which ALL Meter Readings for a Vehicle need to be voided. The most common scenario is meter replacement, when an odometer or hub meter is replaced. In this scenario, the new meter's current reading will be lower than the previous reading in Meter History. Fleetio would typically prevent this through the meter validation process, which voids meter readings that are out of sequence.
To overcome this, Fleetio's Bulk Meter Management allows you to void all existing meter readings and reset the meter to a new starting value.
Meter Entries can be Marked as Void individually from a specific Meter Reading, Fuel Entry, or Service Entry. If you are replacing or resetting a meter, you likely have hundreds of previous meter reading entries. To save time and effort, Bulk Meter Management offers the option to void ALL meters at once.

Void All Meter Entries
NOTE: The Void All Entries process voids ALL Meter Readings, including those which originated via GPS Integrations.
- Click Vehicles in the Sidebar Navigation and select Vehicle List.
- Locate the Vehicle in the list and click it to view its Vehicle Details Page.
- Click the Meter History tab.
- Click More Actions to go to the Meter History Index for that Vehicle.

- Check the box on the header row to select all Meter Entries.

- Click the Actions Drop-Down Menu and select Void.

- In the pop-up, type VOID in all caps to confirm, and click the Confirm button.

After completing the process, the meter values will still be displayed but will be marked as Void.

IMPORTANT: Only the meter readings associated with linked Inspections, Fuel Entries, and Service Entries will be voided. The Inspection, Fuel Entry, and Service Entry data will remain intact for reporting and calculations.
Filter Primary or Secondary Meters Only
If the Vehicle has a Secondary Meter enabled, you can use the Meter Type filter to show Primary Meter Only, Secondary Meter Only, or Both. When you select Void as a Bulk Action, this will apply to the currently filtered results.

Reset Service Reminders
Service Reminders may be configured to track by date or meter - for example, tracking an Oil Change every 6 months or 5,000 miles, whichever comes first. After resetting all Meter Readings, you will need to manually set the next reminder.
- Navigate to the Vehicle Details Page and click the Service Reminders tab.
- Click the More Actions Button for a Service Task and select Edit.

- Check the box to Manually set the due date and/or meter for the next reminder. Then, enter the next reminder's date and/or meter.

- Click the Save Service Reminder button to save your changes.
