If you are on the Fleetio Essential, Professional, or Premium plan, you can upgrade your fleet size (or vehicle band) in Fleetio as your fleet grows.
If you've reached the limit of vehicles in your account, you will need to update your plan's Fleet Size to allow for more capacity.
PERMISSIONS: Only Account Owners or Administrators with Manage Subscription and Billing Information permissions can access Billing & Subscriptions and upgrade fleet size.
To upgrade your fleet size:
- Go to your Account Menu and select Billing & Subscriptions.
- Click the Update Plan button next to the plan you want to change.
NOTE: If you have an existing plan change that is pending, see the Pending Plan Changes section below.
- Click the Update Plan button on your current plan.
NOTE: If you are interested in upgrading to a higher-tier plan, see Billing & Subscriptions.
- On the Review & Pay page, use the Select Fleet Size drop-down to select your new fleet size.
NOTE: If you are on the Essential Plan, you may only have a maximum of 100 vehicles in Fleetio. If you need more than 100 vehicles, you must upgrade your plan to Professional or Premium.
IMPORTANT: Once you select and confirm your fleet size upgrade, you cannot downgrade it in Fleetio. The only exception is for trial accounts that are still within the trial period. Please make your selection carefully!
- Once you have selected your fleet size, review the payment information on the right of the screen. If you would like to proceed, click Confirm Plan Change.
You will now have access to the number of vehicles in the Fleet Size that you selected.
Pending Plan Changes
If you have a pending plan change but need to change your Fleet Size before that plan change takes effect, additional steps are required.
NOTE: A Pending Plan Change occurs if you previously updated your Fleetio plan, and the updates do not occur until the next billing cycle.
On your Billing & Subscriptions page, you'll see the Plan Change Pending callout below.
- Click the Cancel button to remove your pending plan change.
- Follow the steps above to upgrade your Fleet Size.
- Resubmit your previous plan change.
