NOTE: Customers of WEX Telematics can also follow the instructions below to set up their integration.
Fleetio integrates with GPS Insight tracking devices, which report Diagnostic Trouble Codes (Faults/DTCs), vehicle location data, and automatically update the meter values of your mapped vehicles daily.
GPS Insight is an API integration and includes the following features:

What You Need to Know
This integration uses vehicle VINs to sync data between GPS Insight and Fleetio. Before you start the setup process, ensure that the vehicle VINs in the GPS Insight portal match the VINs entered for your Fleetio vehicles.
Integration Setup

Create an API key in Fleetio
Follow the Fleetio API Keys guide to generate a key and access your account token. -
GPS Insight Portal Setup
- Log in to the GPS Insight portal, click the Account menu, then select Manage Webhooks, and Open.
- Under Available Integrations, click the green (+) plus sign next to Fleetio.
- Complete the fields:
- API Key and Account ID (Token) - enter the values created above in the Prepare steps (required)
- Update Location - Check the box to integrate vehicle location updates (optional)
- Update Odometer - Check the box to integrate odometer updates (optional)
- Update Secondary Meter - Select Runtime to integrate secondary meter updates (optional)
- Diagnostic Trouble Codes - Check the box to integrate Faults/DTCs (optional)
- Click Add.

The 3rd Party Integrations table displays. There will be a separate ID for each Integration Type (i.e., Fleetio Odometer, Fleetio DTC).
Additional information is displayed for Status, Queue Depth, and Total Messages. Note the option to Delete the integration.

Integration Setup (Standard Account)
If you have a GPS Insight Standard Account and would like it to integrate with Fleetio, please send the Fleetio API Key and Account ID to GPS Insight Tech Support at support@gpsinsight.com and request integration with Fleetio. They will assist you with integrating your data from GPS Insight into Fleetio.
