With Fleetio Go, you can use your phone or tablet to manage your inventory and add Parts to Work Orders.
PERMISSIONS: Access to managing Parts and Inventory in Fleetio Go is determined by your Role and Permissions. If you need access or have questions, contact your Account Owner or Administrator.
Go to the Parts Index by tapping Browse, then Parts.
The list shows all of the Parts records in your Fleetio account, but you'll only be able to work with Parts you can access according to your permissions.
- Tap the Search bar (a) to search for a specific Part.
- Use the Filters (b) to Sort the list or narrow the results shown by Availability, Location, or Category.

Add or Edit a Part
To add a new Part:
- In the Parts Index (shown above), tap the + button at the top of the screen.
- Tap the toggles to select the Locations where the Part will be inventoried.
- In the Details section, fill in any other identifying information your organization uses to track Parts, such as a description, category, cost, UPC, or part number.

- Scroll down to fill out any Custom Fields and add photos, documents, or comments.
TIP: Custom Fields are fields created by your organization to gather and track additional information and may be required depending on their settings. If you have a question about a Custom Field, contact your Account Owner or Administrator.
- When you're finished, tap Save in the top right.
To edit an existing Part:
- Tap a Part in the Parts Index to display the Overview screen.
- Here you'll see the details for the Part. Location and inventory information is shown at the top, followed by additional details like Category, Part Number, UPC, etc.

- Tap Edit to enable or disable Locations or update Part details.

- When you're finished, tap Save.
Activate or Deactivate Locations
In order to add parts to a Work Order and manage inventory quantities, at least one Location needs to be enabled for a part.
When viewing a Part Overview screen, you'll see a list of Locations. Locations where the Part is enabled are highlighted in yellow.

To make changes, tap Edit.
Switch the toggles on or off for each Location you want to change, then tap Save.

Once locations are enabled, you can add the quantity for each Location, set a reorder point, and more.
NOTE: If you disable a Location that has a current quantity, you will lose the quantity and Location details.
Adjust Inventory and Reorder Point
From the Part Overview, tap an active Location to bring up its inventory details.

To update the part quantity, tap on the Current Quantity. Adjust the quantity by tapping the + and - icons. Select a reason for the adjustment. Then, tap Save.

To change the Reorder Point or enable or disable inventory tracking, tap Edit.
Here, you can designate the Aisle, Row, or Bin where the Part is located.
Use the toggles to enable or disable Inventory Tracking or Reorder Point. If enabled, when a Part quantity reaches the reorder point, Fleetio will send you an email notification so you can put in a purchase order.
NOTE: Inventory Alerts can only be managed in the Fleetio web app.
Tap Reorder Point to change the reorder point quantity.

When you've finished your changes, tap Save.

Add a Part to a Work Order
To add a part to a Work Order:
- Go to the Part Overview, then tap on a Location.
- Tap the Add to Work Order button.

- Tap Select Work Order to browse Work Orders and tap on one to select it.
- Add the Part to a Service Task if there is one, or leave the field blank to create a new one. Select how many parts from the location you're using, and if you need to make adjustments to the part cost for the Work Order, you can update the unit cost.

By default, No Inventory Adjustment is disabled. This means when you save the part to the Work Order, the inventory will be adjusted. You can choose to enable this option and no inventory adjustments will be made.

Scan UPC Barcodes and QR Codes
Fleetio Go uses your mobile device's camera to scan both UPC (barcodes) from part packaging and location-specific QR codes on part Labels printed using Fleetio.
