Advanced Inventory Valuation Methods in Fleetio Go

NOTE: This article covers managing Parts & Inventory using Advanced Inventory Valuation Methods (Average Cost Method, FIFO, or LIFO). If your organization uses static pricing, see Manage Parts and Inventory in Fleetio Go. If you are unsure which pricing method your organization uses, contact your Account Owner or Administrator.

Adjusting Inventory & Viewing Inventory Sets

To update inventory for a part in Fleetio Go:

  1. Tap the Browse menu and tap Parts.
  2. Tap the name of the Part to view its details.
  3. Here, you can view the Inventory Locations and the total quantity currently available at each location.

  1. Tap the Location you would like to adjust inventory for.
  2. Tap the Current Quantity to adjust inventory, or tap Sets to view the breakdown of Inventory Sets.

  • In Inventory Sets, you can view the date the inventory was added, the quantity for each set, and the unit cost.

Adding Parts to a Work Order & Viewing Inventory Sets

When you add Parts to a Work Order using Fleetio Go, you can also see inventory sets.

  1. Tap the Browse menu, then tap Work Orders.
  2. Add a new Work Order by tapping the + button, or locate and tap on an existing Work Order.
  3. In the Line Items section, tap Add Part.
  4. Locate the part and add the Location and Quantity.
  5. Based on the Inventory Valuation Method, Fleetio will automatically pull inventory from the inventory sets in the correct order.

  • The inventory sets will also appear in the Line Items section when viewing the Work Order.
