Contact Renewal Types

Contact Renewal Types allow you to customize the various renewal events and activities that are required for your Contacts. These types can be selected when creating Contact Renewal Reminders in Fleetio, and then used for sorting, filtering, and reporting.

PERMISSIONS: Only Account Owners and Administrators have access to manage Contact Renewal Types. Learn more in the User Management Overview article.

Fleetio includes pre-defined Contact Renewal Types to include general Certifications and License Renewal. You have the option to Edit or Delete these types, as well as Add your own.

To access your Contact Renewal Types:

  1. Go to your Account Menu and select Settings.

  1. In the Settings sidebar, click Contact Renewal Types in the Reminders section.

On the Contact Renewal Types page, you can click the + Add Contact Renewal Type button (a) in the top right corner to add a new type or click the More Actions Button (b) to Edit or Delete an existing type. Clicking the link in the Usage column (c) will bring you to the Contact Renewal Reminders for this type.
