CarIQ is an intelligent vehicle-centric payments company. The API integration is similar to other fuel integrations with Fleetio, but CarIQ uses telematics and location-based data to approve these transactions via smart fuel pumps.
How it works
Every 10 minutes, Car IQ will send fuel transactions to the corresponding vehicle in Fleetio. CarIQ will also create new vendors for these transactions if that vendor does not currently exist in your Fleetio account.
Matching across systems is based on the vehicle VIN; these need to match exactly in Fleetio and CarIQ.
Setup
- Generate your Fleetio API Key.
- Once the account owner has the API key and token, you must send your CarIQ account manager the API key and token, or contact support@gocariq.com. CarIQ will then turn on the integration.
