Customize your User Profile, Login and password information, and Notification Settings to enhance your own personal Fleetio experience.
TIP: The information in this article applies to managing your own User Settings. If you're an Account Owner or Administrator who wants to manage other User's settings, see User Management Overview and User Roles & Permissions.
User Profile
Click your Profile Menu on the right side of the Fleetio web app and select User Profile.
Here you can update your basic user information, including:
- Profile Photo - Click Pick File to choose an image from your computer, or drag and drop a file into the window.
- Your First Name and Last Name as they should appear in Fleetio.
- Email Address where your notification emails will be sent.
- The Fuel Economy Values section allows you to set how you view fuel economy values throughout Fleetio. Note that these values are specific to only your account.
- The Items Per Page drop-down menu lets you control the number of items you see on Lists and Report pages in Fleetio. It can be set to 50, 100, or 200.
Login & Password
Click your Profile Menu on the right side of the Fleetio web app and select Login & Password.
Login Information
The Login Information tab gives you access to your Username, Email, and Time Zone settings:
- Fleetio requires either a Username or Email for your login credentials, and you have the option to define both if you wish. (Note that this email may be different from the one used for notifications.)
- Uncheck the Send me email updates about Fleetio checkbox to unsubscribe from marketing emails.
- Use the Connect or Disconnect Google Account button to manage your Single Sign On (SSO) Google Authentication.
- The Time Zone drop-down controls the time zone Fleetio uses to display all records to you, including records created by other Users.
- Use the Language drop-down to select your preferred language.
- Click the Configure Two-Factor Authentication button to set up two-factor authentication with your phone number.
NOTE: The option to Configure Two-Factor Authentication is available to Fleetio Pay customers only.
If you make any changes, click the Update button to save.
Change Password
The Change Password tab allows you to change your Fleetio password. Enter your new password into both fields, then click the Change Password button.
NOTE: If you have a Google account connected with your Fleetio account and you set a password here, you will be able to log in with either your Google account or an email/password combination.
Notification Settings
Click your Profile Menu on the right side of the Fleetio web app and select Notification Settings.
Here you can configure your email and mobile notification settings for all aspects of Fleetio. There are many options for customizing notifications, and we recommend following our User Notification Settings article to ensure you set them up to suit your needs.
