Maintenance Shop Network Roles & Permissions

In this article, we will review the Roles and Permissions specific to Maintenance Shop Network in Fleetio to ensure Users have the correct access.

Directory

In order to view the Directory, your role must have access to View Vendors. To check if the role has access:

  1. Go to your Account Menu and select Settings.

  1. In the Settings sidebar, click Roles in the User Access section.
  2. Click the role you would like to view and then scroll down to the Vendors section.
    • If the role has Full Access, the user will be able to see Shop Directory.
    • If the role has Some Access, the View Vendors box must be checked.

PERMISSIONS: Only Owners and Administrators can access the Shop Visibility Settings on the top of the Directory page. This will allow for changes to the settings, such as customizing the views of unavailable shops, national providers, and independent shops.

Maintenance Shop Network

PERMISSIONS: Only Owners and Administrators can access the Shop Network page. Regular Users may be granted limited access to the Shop Payments Overview page by customizing their Role following the below instructions.

There may be times when granting access to the Shop Payments Overview page would be beneficial to your Accounting or Administrative staff. To customize the role:

  1. Go to your Account Menu and select Settings.

  1. In the Settings sidebar, click Roles in the User Access section.
  2. Click on the Role to update or create a new Role.
  3. Under the Shop Payments section, choose Full Access or Some to customize what areas of the Shop Payments Overview page you would like this Role to see.

  1. Click the Save button.

The options chosen for the Role directly correlate with what sections will be shown to the User on the Shop Payments Overview page. Regular Users will be able to view information on the overview and download specific statements without having access to edit any information in Shop Network.
