The Intevacon Fuel Card allows you to leverage card controls to better manage fuel expenses and take control of employee spending. Intevacon works with all major POS systems.
NOTE: This integration will sync fuel transactions to Fleetio from any card resold through the Intevacon network.
Integration Type and Setup
API Integration
The Intevacon integration is an API integration. An API is a set of tools and communication protocols that enable separate software systems to communicate. API integrations are built by the third-party providers using Fleetio's open API. These integrations typically require a few simple steps on your end, and support and setup assistance is typically handled by the third-party provider who built the integration.
- Follow the API Key instructions to create an API Key and Account Token.
- Send API Key and Account Token to your fuel provider company, who will contact Intevacon to finalize the setup of the integration.
Data Transfer/Update Frequency
Data is transmitted to Fleetio when the customer is invoiced for their transactions by the fuel card provider. The invoicing schedule (daily, weekly, bi-monthly, or monthly) is determined by the Intevacon customer who issues the card to the Fleetio customer.
Transactions in Fleetio are tied to a card/account. The card is assigned to a Vehicle name/Description which should match what is set up in Fleetio.
