Fuel Entries in Fleetio Go

Fleetio Go gives you the ease and convenience of recording Fuel Entries at the pump using a smartphone or tablet. You can also view a Vehicle's fuel history right in the app from the Fuel Log located in the Vehicle Overview.

Add a Fuel Entry

1. Tap Browse in the Navigation Menu, then tap Vehicles.

2. Select a Vehicle from the list to bring up the Vehicle Overview, then tap the + Quick Add button in the lower right corner of the screen.

3. Select Fuel Entry from the Quick Add menu.

4. Enter the Fuel Entry details into the New Fuel Entry form. The data fields are grouped into the following sections:
   • Details
   • Additional Details
   • Settings
   • Custom Fields
   • Attachments

Details

• Date - Defaults to the current Date and Time
• Price per Gallon - Will pre-fill with the value from the most recent Fuel Entry, and may be adjusted as needed
• Gallons - The number of gallons of fuel pumped
• Total - Automatically calculated when Price per Gallon and Gallons are entered
• Odometer - The current odometer reading of the vehicle

Additional Details

• Fuel Type - Offers the choices established in Fuel Types in your Account Settings
• Vendor - Allows you to select from the Vendor List and includes any Vendor records with Fuel Classification
• Reference - Provides a place to enter an external identifier such as an Invoice, Transaction ID, etc.

Settings

• Partial fuel-up - Can be toggled ON if the tank was not filled up to "full". See Partial Fuel Entries for more info.
• Reset usage - Can be toggled ON if you did not enter the previous Fuel Entry into Fleetio. This ensures accurate usage statistics.

Custom Fields and Attachments

If any Custom Fields are available they'll be shown here, after the Settings section.

To add attachments, tap the corresponding row for Photos, Documents, or Comments.

5. Tap Save on the top right of the form.

View Fuel Log and Edit Fuel Entries

Fleetio Go also allows you to access the Fuel Log for any Vehicle to see a history of all Fuel Entries or to edit an existing one.

1. Tap Browse in the Navigation Menu, then tap Vehicles.
2. Select a Vehicle from the list to view its Vehicle Overview.
3. Scroll down to the Menu section and tap Fuel Log.

4. A list of Fuel Entries displays, with summary information and usage statistics.

5. Tap on a Fuel Entry to view additional details.
6. If you need to modify the Fuel Entry, tap Edit in the top right.

7. Remember to tap Save in the top right if you made any changes.
