Fleet Map Overview

Fleet Map organizes assets, places, and nearby shops into one map inside Fleetio, so your teams can quickly see what’s happening, understand what’s nearby, and choose the best next move. Instead of stitching together answers across systems, Fleet Map helps fleets reduce downtime, coordinate faster, and keep work moving throughout the day.

What is the Fleet Map?

Fleetio's Fleet Map is a single, interactive map that brings together live asset locations, geofences, and nearby shops and vendors in one place.

Location data pulls in automatically from integrated sources (like telematics) or from Fleetio Inspections, Fuel Entries, and Service Entries, so teams don’t have to manually update or reconcile asset locations throughout the day.

A vehicle’s location will appear on the map after a new Fleetio activity (such as an inspection form submission) or when location data is received from an integrated source (such as telematics or fuel integration). Near real-time location updates are currently supported for Samsara, Geotab, Motive, Verizon, and Caterpillar. For all other sources, available location entries will still display on the map.

PERMISSIONS: Fleet Map is available to all Fleetio users across all plans. User access to vehicle location data can be managed in their User Roles & Permissions.
