External Connections

External Connections allow you to upload Scheduled Reports to your company's FTP, SFTP, or Amazon S3 file storage destinations. Once set up, you will be able to select from these external connections when creating new scheduled reports or editing existing ones.

PERMISSIONS: Only Account Owners and Administrators can add and manage External Connections. Any User with permissions to create or schedule custom reports can select an External Connection as a report destination.

Setting up an External Connection will give Users additional options when they are saving and scheduling Reports:

  • The Email Schedule checkbox will be renamed Email and Upload Schedule:

  • After selecting the Email and Upload Schedule checkbox, Users will see an External Connection drop-down menu where they can select where the report will be sent:

TIP: Learn more about scheduling reports in Save & Schedule Custom Reports.
