Customize Reports

NOTE: We're excited to announce that we're making filtering and navigating Fleetio reports easier in 2023. Updates to Fleetio's 40+ standard reports will occur incrementally throughout the year. As a result of the ongoing report enhancements, you may notice differences between report experiences.

 

FleetioReports allow for customization of your report configurations. This allows you to fine-tune results with greater control over the data displayed, and view only those data fields which apply for your needs.

Each User may choose his or her own customization, and this configuration will be retained for each report.

There are three elements which can be customized in a Report:

  • Column selection & Order
  • Filter options
  • Sort options

After designing a report which fits your needs, you may Print, Export, and Share, or Save & Schedule the report.

Customize Column Selection & Order

Click the Settings icon on the top right of a report. Then, click Manage Columns.

The data fields available within the drop-down selection will vary by report in the Available Columns section. You may also change the order of the visible columns on the right by dragging and dropping columns to the specific order you'd like.

Filter Options

Filter options are explained in detail in the Navigate, Search & Filter article.

Sort Options

Report data may be sorted by most column headers to control the order in which results are listed. The default sort is indicated by triangle icon, with an upward point indicating ascending sort, and a downward point indicating descending. Click to apply the sort to that column data, and click again to reverse the sort.

In addition, you may find that some reports include additional pre-defined sort or grouping options to present your data in a more meaningful way. Reference the examples below to view the options:

  • Parts by Location report includes a Sort drop-down menu.
  • Service History by Vehicle report includes two layout options:
    • Group by Service Entry
    • Split by Service Task
  • The Purchase Orders report includes two layout options:
    • Group by Purchase Orders
    • Split by Part

After making column selections, as shown above, you may wish to Share, Print, or Export the report. Learn more in Print, Export, and Share Reports.

Save & Schedule Custom Reports

After making column selections, as shown above, you may also wish to Save the report for easy access or Schedule the report for automatic email delivery to a designated recipient list at a regular interval. Learn more in Save & Schedule Custom Reports.
