Fleetio offers an official connector on Workato, an automation platform that connects Fleetio to over 1,200 apps. With the Fleetio connector, you can build no-code workflows (Workato calls them "recipes") that move data between Fleetio and the other tools your team uses.

What You Can Do
Triggers: Start a workflow in real time when Fleetio webhook events occur — for example, when a work order is updated.
Actions: Create, retrieve, list, and update Fleetio records, including Vehicles, Work Orders, Service Entries, Purchase Orders, Parts, Equipment, Contacts, Vehicle Assignments, Inventory Journal Entries, and Vendors.
See the Workato listing for the full list of available triggers and actions.
Getting Connected
- Create or log in to your Workato account. Workato is a separate platform with its own account and pricing — see Workato pricing for details.
- Generate a Fleetio API key. We recommend creating a dedicated API key for Workato so you can manage and revoke access independently. Reference Managing your API Keys for more information on generating an API key.
- Add the Fleetio connector in Workato and authenticate with your API key.
- Build your recipe using Fleetio triggers and actions.
FAQ
Is Workato managed by Fleetio? No. While the Fleetio connector is official, Workato is an external platform that is not managed by Fleetio. Workato's own pricing, plan limits, and usage restrictions may apply — refer to Workato for details.
What do I need on the Fleetio side? Access is subject to your Fleetio API access, which is available on Professional and Premium plans. Standard API rate limits apply.
I don't see a connector for a platform I use. Let us know by chatting with our support team, or submitting product feedback in the Fleetio app. We prioritize new marketplace connectors based on customer demand.
