Printing Vehicle Labels

Manage your vehicles on-the-go by printing vehicle barcode labels that you can scan using the  Fleetio Go mobile app for Android and iOS.

Note: Every User Type can print labels for any vehicles they can view according to their Record Sets.

Printing labels for all vehicles at once

From the Vehicle List in your Fleetio account, click the “Print Labels” button above the vehicles table. This will pull up a form on which you can select the number of labels per vehicle and the size of labels to print.

Note: The Print Labels form takes into account any filters applied on the Vehicles List. For example, filtering by Vehicle Group before opening the form means that selecting All Vehicles on the Print Labels form will print labels for all vehicles in the group(s) you filtered for.

In the “Print Labels” pop-up window, both “All vehicles" will be selected by default.

If you’d like to print more than one label for each vehicle, increase the value in the “Set quantity per vehicle” field (max = 10).

Choose a label size, verify that the template preview layout looks correct for your labels, and then click  Generate Template.

A new window will appear while your template is being processed. Once complete, a “Download” button will appear allowing you to download a print-ready PDF file. Open your PDF label file, load your printer with the appropriate labels, and print them when you’re ready.

Tip: When printing your PDF label file, make sure your printer settings are set to “Scale 100%” or “Actual Size”.

Printing labels for selected vehicles

Instead of printing labels for every vehicle you can access or for the filtered result-set on the page, you can also individually select vehicles and only print labels for that subset. Click the checkbox next to each desired vehicle and then click Print Labels

In the ensuing Print Labels window, “Selected vehicles” will now be the default selection and the number in parenthesis will indicate the number of vehicles selected. Choose a label size, verify that the template preview layout looks correct for your labels, and then click  Generate Template.
